This new four-story engineering facility features e-learning classrooms, teaching labs, commons areas, a faculty suite, and building support spaces. As part of the “Engineering on Display” initiative, the building itself functions as a teaching tool. Features include sensors for monitoring seismic activity, a carbon-fiber sidewalk snowmelt system, display monitors showcasing energy performance, and viewing windows showcasing building mechanical systems.
