With the completion of the new UAA Alaska Airlines Center, the existing UAA Wells Fargo Sports Complex underwent renovations, including space reprogramming and mechanical and electrical system upgrades, revitalizing the aging facility. The remodel included a new 80,000 CFM central air handling unit, a relocatable ice rink refrigeration system and rink lighting, new hockey team locker room and lounge, new student weight room, as well as offices and multi-use spaces.
