Project

Ayaprun Replacement School

This new facility replaced the Ayaprun Elitnaurvik and Yup’ik language immersion school that burned down in 2015. The school was rebuilt on the LKSD campus, allowing closer integration with other LKSD schools and facilities. In addition to designing the school, AMC completed a preliminary feasibility study to determine the best option for on-site prime power generation in the event that the local utility could not supply power to the site.
