Originally from Georgia, Drew traded his camera for circuits and now works as an electrical engineer. He graduated from Kennesaw State University, where he discovered his passion for engineering. Life has taken him from the beaches of Hawaii to the forests of Washington, with a few California detours along the way. These days, he calls Alaska home, where he lives with his wife, who was born and raised in Alaska, and their newest adventure: parenthood. He’s all about the outdoors and will say yes to just about any sport, even if he has no idea how to play it. Whether it’s hiking a mountain or figuring out diapers, he’s always up for the challenge.

What’s your favorite holiday tradition?

Going to Houston, TX to visit my family for Thanksgiving. We always do it one week prior to the actual holiday, and we have the best time eating and enjoying recapping the year before. Plus, we get a bonus Thanksgiving the week after!
What’s your favorite hobby or pastime?

I love golf and mastering the BBQ pit. Any opportunity to walk a course or maintain a grill temp of 225°F for hours is one to take!
What do you enjoy most about working at AMC Engineers?

Knowing each day will be different, with multiple problems to solve, while working with a solid team that won’t hesitate to pitch in.
