Exterior of building with lit covered patio

Project

Wasilla Public Library

The new Wasilla Library was designed to replace the existing facility, which no longer met the community’s needs. The project features multipurpose meeting rooms, smaller meeting rooms, a teen area, and expanded children’s and adult reading areas. The teen area and greatly expanded children’s library and adult reading areas utilize daylighting to save energy and provide users with as much natural light as possible. Outdoor spaces were created to support library programs, along with ample parking.
