We are excited to welcome Sam Guzauskas as a Mechanical Engineer in Training. Sam graduated from UAA in May with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Sam is a lifelong Alaskan and graduated from East High School. During High School, he was an avid double bass player and was part of the Anchorage Youth Symphony for all four years. He was able to travel outside of the country with the group twice where he got to go to Australia and China. In Australia, he was able to play in the Sydney Opera House. Sam enjoys getting outside as much as possible. Sam enjoys camping, backpacking, hiking, biking, fishing and downhill and backcountry skiing. He also enjoys DIY home projects.
